Why does my cat cry?

When you see your cat crying, you may think that the cat is too sad and crying. However, there is already evidence that their tears have nothing to do with sad emotions. The cat has his own way to express sad emotions. If your cat is crying, it's probably a cat-eye problem. This article will introduce you to several reasons why cats cry.

1. Want food

There is a biological clock in the cat's body. When it is time to eat, but there is no food in the bowl, the cat will start barking and sometimes crying. Try to feed them on time. If they cry and ask for food, please don't give them food to encourage this behavior.

2. Want to seek attention

When the cat is bored, and you don't have time to play with him, the cat will get your attention by crying. Please don't play with him when he is crying, otherwise the cat will associate crying with play. You'd better spare as much time as possible every day to play with the cat.

3. Eye diseases

If the cat has a bacterial infection or conjunctivitis in the eye, these conditions will make the cat look like it is crying, and the tears will keep streaming down. You should take the cat to the vet at this time.

4. Eye irritation

When the cat goes out, if sand or dust gets into the cat’s eyes, the cat’s eyes will be irritated and the cat will cry ceaselessly.
